My shadow track for round 4 of SpinTunes, which I didn't make. Time was limited this week, so I had to keep it simple and short. Which probably works to this song's advantage.

as the colors all melt

the waves rolled around us
as we made a stand

And it all seemed within reach
as we walked down Orange Beach

What felt like strong commitments
washed away beneath our feet
what worked at the ocean
failed on the street
at the edge of nowhere
